"Unfortunate thing Valet was afflicted with. Monsieur Brodeur was especially fascinated with what he was, not who he was, and after Monsieur coined Valet’s phenomenon as something by the ‘Brodeur Effect’ (incredibly humble, isn’t it?), I’ve heard Monsieur call it plainly ‘Corpse Conversion’.
Valet’s curse, besides being a ghoul that could walk on two feet as efficiently as you and I, forced him to obey the every order of a bell, especially the order to ‘transform.’ With a great tearing of sinews and a guttural groan, he would morph into a beast. I’ve only seen glimpses of this form once or twice on those ‘treks’ Monsieur would have with Valet… It was frightening. A great creature, thirteen-- no, fifteen feet long, with an evil glint in its eye that was not unlike an eel’s. He was truly a monster under that curse. I am glad I did not have to fac̶e̵ ̴i̶t̷ ̶i̵ǹ̸̵̷͈͇̦̤͉̥̌̎ ̶̸̸̳̱̣̲̋̉̋̎͋͗̈́̚̚͜m̷̵̴̠̻̩̌̆̓̀̄̚y̷̵̶̗̹͈͎̭̾̎͝
